Originally by: CCP Pann As I see it, the chief complaint is regarding the high cost of goods in the Noble Market. Second, many people are unhappy about the CaptainÆs Quarters. Third, there are some performance issues with Incarna.
No. The chief complaint is that you're taking the game in a direction (Microtransactions) that your playerbase doesn't want and that you promised wasn't coming. It has nothing to do with the cost of the goods on the cash market, but the fact you're moving towards giving player's advantages in exchange for additional money. What you seem to be missing is that Eve is currently based on a level playing field. Players pay their monthly fee and that's it, they're in the sandbox. If a player works hard enough, they have a chance to achieve whatever they want and competing against people on a level playing field.
A shift towards microtransactions alters this balance. It also affects the regular ecnonomy because it drives up the price of PLEX. (They're being consumed for AUR).
If you're dead set on altering the fundamentals of the game in direction of microtransactions there's really nothing you can say to fix this. As Robert Frost once wrote: "Two roads diverged in the yellow road." You guys picked the wrong one and you're about to run your game into ground.

Without us, there is no EVE. Don't give us what YOU want, give us what WE want, or else we won't give you anymore money.
this^^ You can't state the current situation any more succinctly.

Do you have any definitive idea of the future of Aurum?
Aurum is here to stay. The cycle here isn't changing soon.
Then we have nothing to discuss.

Will all future editions of 'Fearless' be released publicly?
Is there anything else you've lied to the playerbase about (MT for vanity ONLY) that we might like to know about?
Soundwave will NOT be fired nor should he. I personally would not like to see one of the driving forces behind the Alliance Tournament and the spiritual leader of Team BFF take a fall for agreeing to present one opposing side of the microtransaction debate in an internal newsletter.
I give Soundwave credit for one thing: "WeÆre going to face an uphill struggle, and the reason many of us never talk about this publically is that weÆd be burned at the stake by the players."
Guess what's happening?

This is at Massively something to keep your gold goose eyes on the spin is in the works and this guy should be let go as well.
If this turns out to be anything other than "We ****ed up, we'll change it" Eve's done.

Originally by: Della Monk 'Reading all the posts' is a brilliant slowing tactic, I'll give manifest credit for that.
It's crap. It's just another strike against CCP that they can't get someone to answer a basic yes/no question. Especially when their future is hanging in the balance.

I know the visibility will be low in this thread, but please consider reviewing Eve in light of the current changes and issues with CCP as per my post here:
